I love Tate so much I can't wait for the next part (I definitely can't wait to see if there is more chase scenes and an escape scene where we have to hide and sneak and run trying to leave having narrow dodges or we hit a dead end and get recaptured etc.... Played both versions, the beta and then the updated version, and holy shit I am in love. I like how the update changed a few things; made the buildup more subtle (in my opinion), had you speak with Vic and learn more about him, and really gave the vibe of 'oh shit' when you realized what was happening. I loved the sexual scenes, and would love to have the mc have a fear kink/ realization they might have one (obviously this is just me being myself and wanting more down bad scenes). My only criticism is for the card segment to have different outcomes, depending on which one you picked. Spoiler: he bites no matter what. For a demo, you can feel the passion that was put into this game, and how much effort it took to make it all shine. Can't wait for more of this series!
Hey I just want to let you know your 32-bit is sending malware signals, I am not sure how entirely accurate this is but cleaning up my computer it leads to this game. I would keep this in mind since there are computer jumper viruses. I would check your computer just to make sure.

I've done some extensive research. In the Expulsion of Arcadia, the arcadians (now Cajuns) that moved to Loui were said to have had inter-marriages with indigenous Mi'kmaq (in Canada). Thinking that Sal is Creole as descendant from slaves (brought to Loui by French) is plausible, but his name (Breaux) might also hint that he's an arcadian-mi'kmaq, or related to such. If it isn't offensive to ask, could you clarrify such or the idea behind Sal. Salvator is quite a spanish name, yes? Perhaps it is related to spanish allegiance of France in Arcadian deportation? (I thought this might not be a spoiler, so I wanted to ask.)
its just based off names my husband (bileshroom) knew and heard from other cajuns/creole people when he was growing up in Louisiana ^^;
my husband is cajun and nola born so he names a lot of characters just off people he had met or grew up around, im sorry haha we didnt do extensive research, its just based off life experience instead XD tho tate/sal are part of the Houma natives (an unrecognized tribe), but at the point of time the games take place, names are just names and its pretty much the same as a normal irl person naming their kid something random that sounds good
our parents gave no thought or cultural significance to our names when we were born so most of the characters we make are similar in that respect

the full uncanny valley game is scheduled to be finished in the future, but currently all of our time is going towards finishing purple, and then frost bite.
after those are finished we will be focusing one the john doe/uncanny valley series again ^w^

the demo is free to play. you click download on the game page and when the optional donation box pops up click "take me to the downloads"
download the game and then extract it to your desktop. open the new folder and find the launch icon and it should open. make sure you download the correct version for your computer (theres two versions, one for 64 and one for 32)

we're focusing solely on purple atm to get it done before the year is up.
after its done we plan on revamping the phobia project demo (which wont take much time at all, maybe a couple months) but then we're planning on working on frost bite solely until its finished.
I cant give a proper eta on the finished game, but we're hoping itll be done sometime next year O: we're only a team of two people who also do art commission work to afford rent and living so sadly things take longer than most companies because we don't have much time to work on our own stuff ;-;
we do plan on releasing it for free, but thats liable to change depending on the amount of work put into it in the end
